Corrections
Help us fix a claim at the source.
Buy Decoded should show what changed, where the better evidence lives, and whether the correction affects a purchase decision. A public correction form is not connected yet, so use this checklist to preserve the right non-sensitive details.
What to record
- The exact Buy Decoded page URL and heading.
- The sentence, price, offer, policy, model, or specification that appears wrong.
- The official merchant, manufacturer, policy, or documentation URL supporting the correction.
- The date you checked the source.
- Whether the issue changes eligibility, final price, renewal, compatibility, return rights, or safety.
What not to send
- Passwords, payment information, recovery codes, or API keys.
- Private billing records or screenshots exposing account, customer, or employee data.
- Identification documents used for eligibility programs.
- A request to label an offer “source checked” without a manual check and dated source.
What happens before a correction is published
The source should be reopened, the exact claim compared, and related pages checked for the same error. Material updates should change the visible copy and any structured data or offer status that depends on it.
